Vehicle Technician

At a glance: The salary offered for this role is up to £42,700, plus a shift premium (calculated from the bottom of the pay range). This is a permanent, full time role, 37.5 hours per week. We are recruiting both Light and HGV Vehicle Technicians. Work Schedule: Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm What you'll be doing As a Technician within the team, you’ll be working on either our 7.5 Tonne/3.5 Tonne Delivery Vehicles or our large HGV lorries (we have both roles available). It will be your job to ensure all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard to both VOSA and Partnership’s requirements. As well as ensuring that the relevant sections of all inspections, services and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our ‘O’ Licence obligations, and that all spares requests and time books are completed daily. You will need to be aware of best practice and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to be able to ensure that high quality repairs are carried out in a cost effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflect the level of work carried out.
