Temporary Finance Assistant

A new opportunity has arisen for a finance treasury assistant for a premium clothing brand in their head office based in London. The long-standing brand is widely known for its heritage clothing with an attention to quality and design. This is a temporary role so interested candidates must be immediately available.

What you’ll be working on:

- Support the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with internal established procedures and deadlines
- Performing timely multi-currency payment runs (i.e. vendors, taxes, money transfers, refunds)
- Support the team in daily cash receipts reconciliations for stores/Ecommerce transactions and management of possible refunds/chargebacks
- Accurate and timely processing of general ledger and journal entries including but not limited to: payments, receipts, deposit and loan entries, bank charges and account transfers

Ideally you have:
- Experience working in Treasury
- Excellent at Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of complex accounting systems – Oracle Netsuite and Shopify are a plus
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
