Supplier Training, Comms and Events Assistant - Part Time 21.75 hours per week
Shire Park, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
As the Supplier Training, Comms and Events Assistant, you'll work within the Supplier Strategy, Engagement & Partnerships team. Your role will be central to building trusted partnerships with suppliers by providing learning and support resources for our supplier partners and engaging with them through communications and events. These are delivered and managed both digitally and face-to-face using various software solutions.
You'll be part of a team that is integral in identifying the opportunities to support supplier partners. The work varies greatly, from supporting the launches of new tools and processes to creating and delivering new learning and sharing key business updates to help drive the Tesco strategy with its suppliers.
The team includes people with a wide range of skills and backgrounds, but all share an appetite for driving change and supplier learning that is critical to support the business and serve Tesco's customers, communities and planet a little better, every day. You will report to the Supplier Capability Manager.
You will be responsible for:
Manage and organise the training and communications calendars.
Coordinate, present and facilitate training sessions both virtually and in person.
Maintain and track all training resources and the supplier training website.
Oversee the Supplier Training inbox and manage end‑to‑end webinar administration.
Ensure all documents, materials and presentations meet brand and quality standards.
Update learning resources and work with stakeholders to ensure content accuracy.
Maintain and share training analytics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Write and send supplier communications using the appropriate communication tools.
Support supplier events digitally and in person.
Build strong working relationships across the business to support delivery.
You will need:
Operational skills relevant for this job:
Facilitating and presenting digitally and in person
Identifying requirements and developing learning resources
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Organising events
Excellent collaboration skills
Stakeholder relationship management
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite of Tools (PowerPoint, Excel etc)
Experience relevant for this job:
Managing presentations from development stage to delivery
Presenting on a variety of topics
Experience within a learning role - of identifying requirements and the optimum resources to support customers
