Standard & Audit Analyst (9 month Fixed Term Contract)

We are delighted to share that we are now recruiting for a Standard and Audit Analyst on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract to join our Product Compliance team here at Tesco.
Working within the Tesco Standard & Audit Team, the successful candidate will deliver streams of work designed to support and improve our audit programmes through data. They will provide enhanced audit programmes by communicating honestly, openly and persuasively, taking time to listen.
This role would suit someone that has experience of creating data visualisation dashboards using tools to build visualisations in Microsoft PowerPoint and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including complex pivot tables and slicers.
You will be responsible for:
Using data generated through technical audit programmes provide proactive and reactive in-depth data analysis and reporting
Delivering insightful and actionable visualisations for audit programmes through reporting, analysis, and optimisation.
Using analytical and trending skills, and through accurate interpretation of the data, compile reports to provide direction to drive improvement in the supply chain, alongside supporting the global Technical functions.
Identifying opportunities for improvement to and development of the audit programme
Creating impactful visualisations of data.
Collaborating with Business Support functions to ensure visualisations are fit for purpose and insightful.
Testing the quality of the data. Collaborating with the Technology teams to ensure data is productionised through internal systems and further developments are delivered.
Gathering feedback from users and identifying changes required.
Communicate/present data identifying any trends, to internal and external parties.
Liaise with Audit Service Providers on data management and trends
Supporting Audit Managers to effectively manage the audit programmes
Manage the scheduling of Technical Audits, ensuring audits are correctly prioritised and data stored on our systems relating to sites and suppliers are kept up to date to enable the programme to operate efficiently while supporting category teams through the audit process.
Contributing to make my team a great place to work (e.g. supporting activities like team days or team meetings).
Administrative tasks such as raising PO numbers where required, managing the shadow audit programme and other similar tasks.

You will need:
Experience of creating data visualisation dashboards using tools to build visualisations in Microsoft PowerPoint and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including complex pivot tables and slicers.
A good working knowledge of IT packages (Microsoft Office, Sharepoint etc.) and internal systems.
Degree level or equivalent qualification in a related science/technology subject.
