Senior Technician

You will be responsible for:

As a Senior Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:

Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.

Responsibilities will include;

Drive service and standards and represent the Tesco brand well.
Stand over workflow to prioritise day to day repairs using CMMS
Own and successfully deliver the safe and legal audits
Ensure all PPM's are carried out within specified timeframes and any recommendations are completed - Stand over L8 & LOLER and PUWER equipment on sites ensuring legal compliance at all times
Deliver strong critical asset availablity through a tenacious and pragmatic approach
Liaising with stakeholders on any intrinsic faulty equipment that is directly affecting operations
Deliver strong compliance in terms of pest control through a proactive mindset
Coodination & assurance of contractor works on site, be the go to person for best practice - Parts inventory management with a cost concious mindset.
Continuous imrovement on SSOW / SOPs
Completing any reasonable ADHOC requests as per line managers instruction - Multi site responsibilties and ownership
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

You will need:

As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
