A ladieswear fashion retailer who are loved by shoppers for their everyday essentials & occasion wear are looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join the team in Islington.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in planning, trading, and optimising product performance across multiple categories. Working closely with Buying, Design, and Ecommerce teams, you’ll ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time — maximising sales, profit, and customer satisfaction.

As Senior Merchandiser, you will lead the merchandising function across key ladieswear categories, driving trading performance, stock strategy, and planning decisions that support both commercial success and customer demand. Working closely with Buying, Design, Ecommerce, and Retail teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the merchandising strategy across multiple ladieswear categories
- Develop and manage seasonal sales, stock, intake, and margin plans
- Analyse performance data and market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Drive profitability through effective forecasting, stock management, and markdown optimisation
- Partner closely with Buying teams to build commercially successful product ranges
- Present trading performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
- Manage WSSI and OTB processes to ensure accurate planning and control
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Merchandisers and Assistant Merchandisers
- Ensure stock allocation and replenishment strategies support both stores and ecommerce performance
- Continuously review processes and identify efficiencies to improve trading performance

What We’re Looking For:
- Significant merchandising experience within fashion retail, ideally ladieswear
- Currently operating at Senior Merchandiser level or ready to step up from Merchandiser
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent understanding of forecasting, planning, and trading functions
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and merchandising systems knowledge
- Passionate about fashion, trends, and the customer journey

The salary is paying up to £68,000
