An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced senior dresses designer, to join a global brand based in Melbourne. The role is to support the design manager, and look after both the northern and southern hemisphere markets.
The role:
• Design on trend dresses
• Help manage a team, and delegate research
• Conduct design presentations
• Work closely with buyers and merchandisers
• Coordinate with the technical department
The candidate:
• Previous experience with womenswear design across the UK / European high street
• Commercial, with feminine handwriting
• A current portfolio including CADs and hand sketches
• Strong communication skills
