Marketplace is a key pillar of Tesco’s strategy to become ‘Easily the Most Convenient’ grocer, giving customers access to a broader range of third‑party products alongside their core grocery shop on Tesco.com. As Marketplace continues to scale, we are looking for a Seller Success Manager to take ownership of the performance of our Core accounts.

In this role, you’ll partner with a large portfolio of sellers to unlock growth at scale; helping them deliver standout customer propositions and thrive on Tesco Marketplace. You’ll combine commercial and relationship management expertise to deliver shared growth and financial targets, while shaping a best-in-class seller experience. It’s a high impact opportunity with real ownership, strong cross‑functional collaboration, and regular exposure to senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

Partnering with a broad portfolio of sellers to unlock and maximise shared growth opportunities through scalable engagement
Acting as the voice of the seller internally, sharing insights and feedback to help shape priorities, policies and product enhancements
Building strong, trusted relationships with sellers, establishing effective and scalable ways of working and governance to resolve issues, prioritise opportunities and optimise outcomes, supporting long-term retention
Delivering a seamless end-to-end seller and customer experience by reducing friction and improving how sellers interact with us
Using data and insights to understand seller needs, customer trends, market dynamics and competitor activity, prioritising actions that drive the greatest impact
Leveraging promotional plans, seasonal moments and key events to support and accelerate seller growth
Communicating confidently with stakeholders, using data and insight to inform and influence decision making
Working closely with the Marketplace Strategic team to support the delivery of range strategies at scale
Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Pricing, Media and Marketing teams to unlock growth opportunities and address challenges

You will need:

Strong understanding of online marketplace models, commercial drivers and key growth levers
Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to manage a broad, cross-category seller portfolio in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present with confidence and influence at all levels, alongside effective cross-functional collaboration
Proven programme and initiative management capability, delivering outcomes through collaboration across multiple teams
Strong analytical capability, using data and insights to prioritise actions, manage performance and support growth
Able to balance strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach in a dynamic environment
High level of proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to build and grow external partnerships, supporting engagement and long-term retention
Experience working within a commercial retail or eCommerce environment, ideally within a third-party (3P) or marketplace model
