SAP Solutions Owner

Here at Harrods, we are seeking a visionary SAP Solution Owner to join our IT team at Harrods. This is a high profile and senior role across the IT organisation, and requires the successful candidate to be a highly motivated self-starter, capable of balancing strategic thinking with operational success, and the capability to communicate articulately and succinctly to all levels of the organisation

About the Role

In this role you will be accountable for the overall functional design of our SAP solutions, ensuring end-to-end business processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with strategic goals. Partnering with Solution Leads across business functions, you will champion clean-core principles while enabling innovation through well-governed enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and maintain the SAP solutions roadmap, aligning with Harrods’ IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
Oversee service management of SAP solutions, including third-party AMS providers, and ensure testing governance across all phases.
Build, mentor, and empower a team of SAP Solution Leads, ensuring Harrods has the right internal capability to make informed decisions.
Work closely with the SAP Platform Lead to reflect solution changes in our RISE agreement and partner with business stakeholders to balance competing requirements.
Proactively identify upgrades or replacements, ensuring Harrods remains ahead of future technology needs.

About You

You are a driven senior manager with deep SAP functional expertise and a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale implementations. You thrive in balancing technical excellence with business priorities and are passionate about building product-focused organisations.

You bring:

Expertise in SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD) with certifications preferred.
Experience across full SAP implementation life cycles (ECC or S4/HANA).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all levels.
A proactive, adaptable mindset with a strong work ethic and commitment to Harrods’ values.
