As a Promotions & Events Manager, you will play a key role in planning and forecasting promotional, seasonal and event activity to ensure our stores receive the right stock at the right time. Working collaboratively with Category Buying, Supply Chain, Feature Space Planning and supplier partners, you will build accurate promotion plans, manage risk, and help deliver great availability for customers.

You’ll monitor performance across the end‑to‑end supply chain, resolving supply issues, balancing stock levels, and ensuring promotional volumes flow smoothly from supplier to depot and into stores. Using strong analytical skills and a confident, collaborative approach, you’ll turn commercial plans into operational reality while supporting delivery of availability, overstock and service targets.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data‑led decision making, cross‑functional teamwork, and shaping how our promotional activity lands for customers across the business.

You will be responsible for:

Forecasting and planning future promotions, seasonal activity and events in my category to ensure overstock/ overhang targets are met, working with suppliers and Category Buying teams.
Working with Category Buying teams and Feature Space Planning teams to build promotion plans, ensuring they are available to the Promotions Forecasting and Procurement teams and visible on replenishment systems in a timely manner.
Reviewing promotion availability, working with the the Category Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Manager.
Supplier Collaboration and Category Buying teams to resolve issues arising from limited supply.
Working collaboratively with teams across Forecast & Ordering, Network Planning and Feature Space Planning to manage volumes from depot to store, meeting store service level targets to achieve effective replenishment.

You will need:

An understanding of the E2E movement of product through to the shelf edge.
Understanding of store routines.
Forecasting/Planning experience.
Understanding of Supplier supply chain - Tesco ordering systems: CR, LM, Promotions System, Denver, CRST, NBS, MM.
Data Analysis experience.
Previous Stakeholder Management experience.
