Personalisation Process Optimisation Lead

We have an exciting opportunity in the newly formed Personalisation team for a Personalisation Process Optimisation Lead. You'll be working closely with teams across the Tesco Group to embed and optimise processes for the delivery of the personalisation strategy, which will be a key driver of Tesco's ongoing growth. Working with Agile teams, you will be responsible for analyzing data, documenting business scenarios and processes, capturing requirements, influencing stakeholders, and recommending improved ways of working across functional teams based on Personalisation capabilities delivered. You will advocate streamlining of impacted planning and delivery processes to create value for Tesco's Customers and Colleagues.
You will be responsible for:
- Working across the Tesco group, including with Tesco Mobile & IMS, to deliver Group personalisation capabilities.
- Eliciting and documenting business outcomes through various methods like interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Mapping and analyzing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings
- Developing and recommending solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather outcomes, communicate project status, and manage expectations.
- Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions you make Managing stakeholder expectations and addressing their concerns.
- Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing recommendations to the business
- Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
- Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary
- Support colleagues across functions and teams in making recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
- Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
- Implementing and monitoring process improvements.
You will need:
- Business and Data analysis experience in a large customer-focused organisation
- Proven track record in designing and implementing changes to working practises.
- Experience in influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience working in Supplier Facing/ Commercial roles
- Experience working in a cross- functional environment across group entities
- Experience working in both traditional and agile environments, particularly in roles where personalisation and innovation are key
