Partnerships Business Manager - Home and Clothing

We are on the lookout for a Partnerships Business Manager to join our Home and Clothing team. This role will manage the key strategic partnerships for Home & Clothing, supporting the long-term strategy, through driving sales and profit growth and overseeing operational delivery. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, team management, performance tracking and strategic planning.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Partnerships, you will work across our Home & Clothing partners, leading the assessment of new partners, delivery, as well as the day-to-day management, supporting and influencing longer term partnership strategy. Specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business but below are some of the key responsibilities.
You will be responsible for:
Cultivating strong relationships with partners, acting as a primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication, effective ways of working, regular performance reviews and future planning sessions across the Group.
Influencing partners to deliver strategic and commercial initiatives to grow revenue. Overseeing implementation, analysing performance and identifying areas of risks and opportunities.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Property, Finance, Tech, and Marketing) to ensure H&C partners strategies are executed. Building cross functional relationships to establish and embed ways of working.
Communicating partnership performance, plans and updates to internal stakeholders. Representing partnership interests and priorities across internal forums, balancing partner needs with business requirements.
Collaborate with H&C leadership in the assessment of business development opportunities relating to new partnerships, including leading the management of delivery.

You’ll need to demonstrate extensive experience of:
Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication & presentation skills to all levels of seniority & disciplines within the organisation.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing & negotiating skills.
Customer, commercial and critical thinking.
Highly experienced merchandiser with detailed knowledge of budgeting & planning processes within a large corporate framework.
Highly organised & with the ability to simplify complex topics and work with large amounts of data.
Personal
Enjoys working across functions and with external partners.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Resilient with a positive approach to change and experience of resolution management.
Pro-active with a passion for learning and an openness to new ideas and thinking.
