This is an exciting and diverse role covering a wide range of legal matters. You’ll provide support to the employment law team in matters of Employment Law and support in the research of cases, preparing legal files, taking statements and updating cases to ensure deadlines are adhered to and stakeholders are up to date and informed. With your highly professional approach, you will demonstrate a common-sense approach and will have the knowledge, confidence, and skill to lead, influence and advise a range of stakeholders.

You will hold an integral role in coordinating contentious work, managing cases independently and supporting with the ensuring case file management, case research & document drafting.

What you'll do


Drafting and/or preparing key legal documents and bundles
Taking statements and coordinating the availability of witnesses
Ensuring cases are logged on our internal Case Mgmt tool
Providing case research for the Employment Law team
Monitoring and ensuring strict adherence to deadlines & case listings and/or orders
Supporting with the coordination of ACAS conciliation and employment tribunals
Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

What you'll need


Experience in a law firm or equivalent
Proven experience in the field of Employment Law
CILEex certificate in law desirable, or alternative
Strong research skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to influence stakeholders, with strong communication and influencing skills
Exceptional organisational skills
