Supply Planning Lead

A global retailer is looking for a supply planning lead to join its supply chain team at its London office. This organisation has some of the biggest names and most well-loved brands in its market. It is a multi-billion-dollar organisation distributing product to over 80 countries, with offices in Hong Kong, China, London, France, Spain and Germany. Due to exponential year-on-year growth, all offices are growing the teams across all functions.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end supply planning across the French and German markets in a multi-brand, multi-retailer portfolio. You will develop and execute supply plans that align with demand forecasts and production capabilities, ensuring optimal product availability. Managing production orders, proactively identifying risks, and implementing solutions to maintain service levels will be key responsibilities. You will monitor and optimise inventory, focusing on reducing slow-moving and obsolete stock and analyse supply coverage to anticipate shortages or excess, driving necessary recovery plans. Collaboration is central to this role and you will work closely with demand planning, product development, order management, logistics and regional supply planning leads to ensure consistency and alignment of plans and processes across your markets.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of supply planning experience, ideally within the consumer goods sector sourcing from Asia. You should bring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Clear and confident communication, including presentation skills at global leadership level, is important. Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is essential. A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for your work will help you succeed. German and/or French language skills are an advantage but not essential.
In return they are offering a competitive salary of up to £47,000, a generous bonus and 33 days holiday, including bank holiday entitlement. The office is located in Central London and offers hybrid working.
