One Stop - Project Manager

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in property, construction, and retail. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing complex construction projects within a retail environment, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of new store developments, refurbishments, and strategic business initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Development, you’ll lead cross-functional project teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and drive timely project delivery.

You will be responsible for:
What I Do:
- Responsible for the end-to-end project management of new store pre-development works & fit outs, franchise refurbishments, and implementation of business initiatives.
- Lead project meetings, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, assign responsibilities, and assess project feasibility and associated costs.
- Coordinate the instruction of all required property surveys in collaboration with the Acquisitions team and consultants.
- Review developer plans and specification, ensuring all design standards are achieved.
- Oversee the planning application process, ensuring submissions are made within project timelines and any conditions are discharged in accordance with project milestones.
- Communicate key project dates with stakeholders, maintaining accurate tracking and oversight to ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Ensure all required H&S controls and documentation are in place for each project.
- Ensure all site works meet approved building control standards and all required legal documentation is in place.
- Attend project snagging and practical completion meetings to ensure quality of works and adherence to agreed developer specification. Ensure all snags are completed in line with project KPIs.
- Manage project finances, ensuring stakeholder engagement, budget adherence, accurate documentation, and timely financial closedown in line with KPIs.
- Effectively manage external stakeholders and utilise department labour to ensure adequate resource is in place to complete all projects.
- Deliver the Property P&L by managing regional cost lines including accommodation, fuel, and expenses.
- Line management responsibility within the property function.

- Understanding of health & safety and CDM requirements.
- Experience of budget control.
- Understanding of building regulations.

- IOSH – Managing Safely
- Asbestos Awareness
- CDM Competency
-Prince 2 or Equivalent project management qualification
