As a key support to the Line Manager within the Finance Function for the Franchises division, I contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of financial processes. My role involves producing timely and accurate financial reports, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with weekly, monthly, and annual accounts. I also support the preparation of franchise invoices and statements, respond to Franchisee queries, and handle journal entries including accruals and prepayments.

I actively participate in team meetings and take on additional tasks as requested, always striving to improve finance ways of working. With a strong focus on accuracy and professionalism, I aim to get things right the first time and approach every task in a friendly, collaborative manner. Building strong relationships with stakeholders is central to my role, and I work closely with Business Development Managers and Franchisees to ensure effective business partnering and financial support.

You will be responsible for:

Assisting the line manager in all areas within the Finance Function for the Franchises division. This will include:
Producing timely and accurate financial reports as required
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with preparation of weekly, monthly and annual accounts
Assisting in the preparation of franchise invoices and statements
Responding to Franchisee queries
Preparation and entry of journals, including accruals and prepayments
Participate in team meetings.
Carry out other work as requested by my manager.

Business partnering with BDM’s and Franchisees

You will need:

Knowledge & understanding of financial reporting & processes.
Good IT skills especially Excel.
Able to communicate well.
Maintains a high level of personal integrity at all times.
Flexible attitude to work.
Qualified to AAT level or equivalent (degree) as a minimum
