Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser (12 month maternity contract)

Join a long-established, Scottish brand based in Glasgow, specialising in quality outdoor clothing and equipment. The business offers classic apparel and equipment to customers locally and internationally through its retail and strong online presence.

Currently seeking an experienced Merchandiser with a background in apparel to support range planning, stock management, and trading analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Seasonal category planning for each department
- Developing and managing product ranges and assortments
- Overseeing stock levels and allocation
- Managing in-season forecasting and markdown strategy
- Producing regular reports on weekly and seasonal performance
- Grading stores and managing distribution strategies

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and analytical skills, along with WSSI, forecasting, stock replenishment, and merchandising software (D365 or similar) experience.

Please note this is a 12 month maternity cover (with potential to be made permanent) and based in Glasgow 5 days per week.
