Our Harrods Estate team are currently seeking an experienced Lettings Assistant to join them on a permanent basis in our Knightsbridge office.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of central London’s most exclusive estate agents with a globally recognised brand. As an expert in the Lettings industry, you will be highly organised, self-motivated and maintain an outstanding professional and customer-service focused approach at all times.

About the Role

In this multi-functional role, you will be responsible for supporting the negotiators with new tenancy paperwork, in addition to being involved with the short and long term letting processes. Dealing with applicants and landlords, property marketing, conducting viewings and converting them to new tenancies, contacting landlords for market appraisals, supporting the Lettings Co-ordinator along with other general office administration.

You will also:

Action new tenancy progression including the preparation of tenancy agreements, arranging & finalising tenancy files, gathering all relevant paperwork relating to the tenancy such as gas safety certificates, EICRs, EPC’s etc, deposit registration ensuring we remain compliant with all legal requirements and legislation.
Conduct Right to Rent and follow up Right to Rent checks.
Support the Lettings Co-Ordinator with AML compliance, renewals and terminations processes.
Upload property details onto Reapit, arrange photography, floorplans, window cards, EPC’s and compiling brochures.
Update property availability and featuring properties on the various portals (Rightmove, Zoopla etc).
Convert market appraisals into new instructions to grow our market share.
Convert as many viewings as possible into new tenancies for the office to achieve its yearly target.
Assist with the smooth running of the office and all operational systems.

About You

You will have exceptional communication and customer service skills, along with paying meticulous attention to detail while also having the ability to multitask.

You will also have:

Proficient use of Word Excel and Outlook – Reapit is desirable.
Extensive knowledge of Prime Central London and especially in the RBK&C lettings market.
Strong knowledge of letting legislation and ideally ARLA qualified.
Ability to work as a team player for the benefit of the entire office.
Two years’ experience in letting properties in Central London and tenancy progression.
Experience in dealing with high-net worth individuals, tenancy agreements and all relevant paperwork.
Outstanding influencing and networking skills.
