Work within the Distribution Centre to manage and align streams of work for Distribution, ensuring colleagues and operation are not compromised at any time.
Partnering with stakeholders across Tesco and externally to deliver objectives, manage dependencies and deliver the overall plan.
Be agile in your approach, working across different areas of distribution operation to ensure plans are aligned in support of the strategic automation plan.
Ensure colleagues are recruited, trained, developed and supported to be the best they can be.
Know your stuff and share knowledge and enthusiasm.
Take ownership of process and systems, making sure they are effective and efficient; you spot issues and swiftly find the best solutions.
Understand how technology/automation is key to our future and make sure automation is a part of key business.
You will be responsible for:
Attending meetings and calls with the Project Manager and Distribution team.
Liaising with the distribution centre teams during the installation to ensure that they understand each step of the process from install to go live.
Sign off the resource /skill plan to ensure that this is in line with each phase of installation.
Working between the Distribution Team and Project Team to ensure minimum disruption, Depot operation and wider network.
Ensuring communication to Depot teams on progress updates, changes and upcoming events and activities
Regular communication and updates to be provided to Project Manager and Project Team.
Ensure all faults have been logged post install and ensure the centres team know how to log issues going forward.
Support the Project Team with any queries promptly.
Logging operational learnings to build the future blueprint for future AMR rollout.

Rota will be across the day shifts - any 5 days out of 7 including weekend work
