Junior Merchandiser

A popular ladieswear fashion retailer is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Junior Merchandiser to join their growing head office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about fashion, numbers, and product performance.
You will work closely with the Merchandising and Buying teams ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time—supporting commercial decisions that drive sales and growth.

Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Merchandising team with weekly and seasonal trading reports
• Assisting with sales, stock, and margin analysis
• Monitoring bestsellers, slow movers, and stock availability
• Helping to plan allocations, replenishment, and stock transfers
• Maintaining accurate data across systems and spreadsheets
• Supporting range reviews and post-season analysis
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Buying, Planning, and Retail/E-commerce teams

Background:
• A degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Confident using Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables are a bonus)
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Passion for fashion and commercial awareness of trends
