Junior Buyer

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and commercially aware Junior Buyer to join our Menswear team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their buying career within a fast-paced fashion environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the buying function, helping to deliver trend-led, commercially successful jersey ranges that meet customer needs and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Buyer in developing and delivering the menswear jersey strategy
Assist in building seasonal ranges, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer demand
Analyse sales data and performance to identify opportunities and risks
Manage critical path timelines to ensure products are delivered on time
Work closely with design, merchandising, and sourcing teams to develop product ranges
Attend supplier meetings and assist with negotiations on cost prices and margins
Conduct competitor analysis and trend research to keep ranges relevant and competitive
Support in range reviews and sign-offs
Maintain accurate product and supplier information in internal systems

Experience:
Previous experience in a buying or buying admin role (fashion preferred)
Strong interest in menswear, particularly jersey product (t-shirts, sweats, polos, etc.)
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams and suppliers
Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Desirable Skills:
Understanding of garment construction and jersey fabrics
Experience using buying/planning systems
Trend awareness and a strong commercial eye
