Junior Bartender - 'Selfridges new Destination'
Remembering and sharing our experiences is one of life’s great pleasures. How something made us feel stays with us - inviting us to return, and to share it with others.
At Cellar, we believe the experience is always greater than the plate before us. It is carefully curated, deeply personal and designed to be remembered long after the moment has passed - much like finding the perfect outfit that simply feels right.
Our new destination is defined by thoughtful service, quiet confidence and a deep respect for hospitality as a craft. Here, details matter, relationships are valued, and experiences feel intuitive rather than prescribed.
We are building a team of professionals who take pride in creating an atmosphere that is warm, discreet and effortlessly polished — a place members choose not only for what we offer, but for how we make them feel.
Cellar is seeking a motivated Junior Bartender to support our bar team in delivering a refined and seamless member experience.
This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their bar career - a hospitality professional who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and understands that exceptional service is built on preparation, organisation and teamwork.
Working alongside experienced bartenders, you will play an important role in ensuring the bar operates smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards.
We are looking for someone who:
Demonstrates a genuine interest in beverage and bar craft
Is eager to learn and grow within a professional hospitality environment
Brings strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to their work
Thrives in a team and supports colleagues
Takes pride in creating clean, organised and service-ready spaces
Key contributions to the team include:
Supporting opening and closing duties to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service
Assisting with the preparation of both hot and cold beverages
Maintaining efficient stock organisation and supporting replenishment
Transporting beverages and supplies between back-of-house areas and the bar
Keeping all bar spaces immaculate before, during and after service
Upholding bar standards with consistency and care
This role offers a strong foundation for someone looking to build a long-term career in bartending, learning from skilled professionals within a thoughtfully operated private members’ club.
If you are ready to learn the craft from the ground up and take pride in being part of a high-performing team, we would be delighted to hear from you.
