Head of Merchandising

An exciting opportunity has come up for a head of merchandise planning to join a high performing well loved sports brand in its HQ!
This is an integral role that will see you drive product assortment and inventory planning across the group.

The role:
• Lead the merchandise planning team to deliver performance and development
• Provide clear and actionable assortment and buy plans
• Look for opportunities of growth by looking at trends and competitors
• Oversee the full merchandise planning cycle
• Manage merchandise forecasts and budgets

The candidate:
• Previous experience in a merchandising leadership roles
• Experience with apparel, and ideally some sportswear
• Highly analytical and commercial
• Able to use analytics tools, and Excel
