We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Field Visual Merchandiser to join the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Visual Merchandising team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, field-based role where creativity meets commercial impact—and no two days are the same.

As a Visual Merchandising Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how our brand comes to life in store. Working closely with the VM Manager and wider teams, you’ll inspire stores, elevate presentation standards, and deliver compelling visual stories that drive sales across our retail estate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Partnering with the VM Manager to deliver clear, engaging, and impactful visual communication to stores

Collaborating with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams to develop and deliver inspiring VM guidelines

Bringing the Activity Calendar to life—supporting key trading moments including New Season launches, Sale, and Christmas

Creating and supporting promotional and event briefs that help stores execute with confidence and consistency

Playing a key role in new store openings, from setup through to launch

Helping plan, launch, and showcase model stores that set the standard for the wider business

Visiting stores regularly to ensure VM and POS guidelines are executed effectively, providing feedback and support

Being a visible, professional ambassador for the VM function, building strong relationships at all levels

What You’ll Bring

Strong, hands-on experience in retail environments, ideally within fashion or clothing retail

Proven experience in Visual Merchandising roles, with a sharp eye for detail and a strong commercial mindset

Confidence delivering model store set-ups and maintaining excellent store presentation standards

Experience supporting retail transformation projects, such as new store openings or concession launches

The ability to balance creative flair with sales-driving commerciality

Flexibility with working hours and a proactive, can-do attitude

A full UK driving licence and enthusiasm for frequent travel and occasional overnight stays

About Us

The Edinburgh Woollen Mill is a retail business comprising of over 400 units, including High Street, Tourist & Destination sites, predominantly Fashion and Home.

The Edinburgh Woollen Mill has mainstream high street stores selling ladies and menswear for the 45 plus customer. Outlets are located in a wide variety of market and provincial towns across the UK and Ireland.

We have specialty tourist stores, where gift items and other products reflect the stores location. The outlets, which trade under an individual, often local, fascia, are in key tourist locations throughout the UK. Many stores are on busy tourist routes and benefit from coach visits where food service and exhibitions are all part of the attraction.

There are Destination Sites which contain all of the Company's concepts and other brands to increase their attractiveness as a retail destination. The sites trade under local, individual fascia’s such as Antartex Village, and Kernow Mill, Mackinnon Mills.
