A global apparel retailer is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Manager for their London HQ. The role supports the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of an in-house ecommerce platform across Europe, working closely with stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels.

This role focuses on driving effective warehouse and logistics operations while successfully onboarding ecommerce carriers across multiple markets. The Ecommerce Operations Manager will take ownership of operational performance, ensuring seamless integration between the ecommerce platform, warehouse management systems, and third-party logistics providers. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as the role partners cross-functionally with IT, site operations, customer service, and logistics teams, as well as external warehouse partners and carriers to ensure smooth, end-to-end fulfilment.

In addition to operational leadership, the role incorporates key project management and business analysis responsibilities. This includes leading warehouse and logistics-related projects from initiation through delivery, defining scope, timelines, and success metrics, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will gather and document business requirements, map processes, identify gaps and optimisation opportunities, and translate operational needs into clear functional specifications for development teams and third-party vendors. They will also support testing, implementation, and post-go-live review to ensure solutions meet business objectives and enhance service performance.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years’ experience in ecommerce or retail operations, with strong exposure to IT-enabled change, agile delivery environments, and third-party logistics management. Experience working closely with development teams and external vendors, alongside a solid understanding of modern ecommerce technologies and digital tools, is essential.

This is an exciting time to be joining, as the company is entering a growth phase. This opportunity will play a key part in the success of the company over the next couple of years.
