Duty Manager/Team Leader at Bird & Signet Glasgow Airport

Everyone regardless of age starts on £12.63 per hour.

(You will also receive an extra £1.50 per hour for shifts worked between 4:00 am and 6:00 am)

We are looking for a full-time duty manager to join our Bird & Signet at Glasgow Airport.
As a duty manager, you will work a variety of shifts between 4:00 am - 9:00 pm including weekends, so it is important you can travel safely to the Airport for early starts.

Responsibilities for Duty Manager:

Leads the shift and motivates the team to drive sales
Follows opening, closing & shift changeover procedures ensuring effective handover
Ensures the cleaning schedules are followed with all cleaning monitored & allocated fairly
Following Health & Safety/Food Safety/Statutory requirements and report to Line Manager if required
Trains the team on brand standards
Ensures cash procedures are followed by all staff

Requirements for Duty Manager:

Management/ Supervisor experience within the retail or hospitality sector required!
Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations.
Due to some responsibilities within the Duty manager role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
