We are looking for a Digital Signage and Audio Specialist to join our IT team at Harrods. You will be responsible for support and overall service of all Audio systems across the Harrods Ltd locations which include locations, Knightsbridge, Heathrow, Milton Keynes, Lakeside, Edinburgh and Bristol at the present time.

This role is based in Knightsbridge full time on site Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm and will involve on call support.

About The Role

As the Digital Signage and Audio Specialist you will assist in supporting all day-to-day operational activities while working hands on as part of the team. You will support in rectifying faults as quickly as possible and also identify proactive measures that can enable the team to preventatively optimise and continuously improve the solutions.

You will also;

Support the investigations, resolution and support of incidents and requests related to the Digital Signage & Audio platforms and systems, integration and third-party components.
Responsible for ongoing maintenance and support including preventative maintenance
Assist with the management of all monitoring system tools and alerting mechanisms, ensuring that systems are efficiently monitored.
Optimising design for maximum customer experience whilst considering Value Engineered solutions to work within budgets

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous years of experience in AV (media screens, media players, media software). We are also looking for someone who has previous experience with Yamaha and Dante networks, as well as designing Audio.

You will also have Excellent time management skills and have the ability to work under pressure. Basic Microsoft skills is required and good communication skills both written and verbal as the role will see you communicating with internal stakeholders and senior members of staff.

There is a need to keep calm under pressure and work at pace so that you can balance the operational elements of the role whilst looking ahead
