Deputy Store Manager

An established fashion retailer are looking for a passionate and driven Deputy Store Manager to help lead the team and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. As the second-in-command, you’ll support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations, from team leadership to commercial performance, ensuring the store consistently meets and exceeds targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales, KPIs, and profitability
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Take ownership of the store in the manager’s absence
- Ensure high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation
- Monitor stock levels, manage deliveries, and minimise loss
- Analyse sales reports and identify opportunities for growth
- Recruit, train, and coach team members to build a strong talent pipeline
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role (fashion retail preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for fashion and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Flexibility to work across weekends and peak trading periods
The salary is paying up to £32,000 with scope to earn more through a sales related bonus.
