About the Role

COMMIS CHEF at Bird & Signet - Glasgow Airport

Rate of pay: £12.79 per hour - regardless of age. £13.89 if you work between midnight and 06:00 am.

Shift patterns: scheduled between 3 am and midnight including weekends

Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations.
Due to some responsibilities within the Team Member role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol.

Responsibilities for Commis Chef:

Preparing orders with accuracy
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
Demonstrate knowledge of brand products - full training will be provided
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Consistently meet shift/daily average spending, waste, and portion control targets
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance in work areas.
