In this role you will use your expertise in delivering strategic insight transformation and best-in-class business partnering to deliver a wholescale change to the way we listen to our 340,000 colleagues across the Group. The role will lead the transition, from operational design to BAU. You will co-create the most appropriate Colleague listening mechanisms for Tesco and phase their implementation, working alongside the People team, Technology, Business Support and all Tesco Group markets. New colleague listening will proactively identify opportunities to grow & help set the direction of our People priorities ensuring colleagues come first and become our biggest advocates.

You will be responsible for:

Specifically, the role is accountable for:

Driving the transformation of the new Group colleague listening strategy including formulating and agreeing operational design principles to land the change.
Working directly with the Head of Insight, business leaders, project teams spanning People, Technology, Channels & Business Support as well as all Group markets to obtain buy-in and achieve implementation of the new colleague listening vision and strategy.
Building extremely strong relationships with stakeholders, knowing their motivations, measures of success, processes and decision points.
Embedding new listening mechanisms into the Group Insight team and with your Colleague Insight peers to evolve our service model for Colleague listening and insight delivery.
Managing new Colleague listening strategy to budget.
Organising resources to deliver changes to our ways of working, lined up to the new service model.
Working in partnership with peers in Colleague insight to triangulate Colleague data, Customer data and business outcomes.
Telling clear, succinct and impactful stories and facilitating stakeholders to understand the meaning behind every piece of work before decisions are taken.
Demonstrating and advocating learning and best practice across our Group Insight team in areas of insight generation, storytelling, democratising insight and stakeholder management.

You will need:

Consulting skill set and collaborative mindset
Strategic transformation
Numerate and analytical
Creative and structured problem solver
Self-starter, proactive and curious, happy to deliver as an SME or as part of a team
Excellent data interpretation and storytelling skills.
5+ years’ experience in an equivalent Insight or People/HR based employee experience or engagement role, delivering transformation / change
Experience in Strategy based roles in a fast moving, customer-facing industry
Working with agencies and external functions.
