Lead the scoping, design, and development of strategically aligned learning solutions for colleagues and managers across the Tesco group. This role focuses on creating blended learning experiences that build the skills, behaviours, and values needed to deliver our key strategic priorities.

Drawing on your significant experience in innovative, blended learning design, you will balance strategic thinking with a practical approach—providing expert guidance and proposing creative, effective solutions to address development needs for colleagues and managers.

You will be responsible for:

· Contribute to the creation of a capability strategy for current and future needs (skills and behaviours).
· Translate data‑informed development needs into learning solutions aligned with key initiatives.
· Design and curate innovative, blended learning interventions in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
· Manage end‑to‑end complex learning design using various formats (digital, face‑to‑face, video, etc.).
· Act as an SME on content design, integrating external best practice and the latest thinking.
· Ensure solutions are fit for purpose and sustainable across all markets.
· Collaborate with Tesco Business Services to enable self‑serve learning.
· Ensure centrally owned programmes are delivered on time and within budget.
· Build trainer capability and support delivery teams through pilots and train‑the‑trainer sessions.
· Partner with senior stakeholders to provide expert advice and recommendations.
· Support engagement and sign‑off of new learning solutions across the business.
· Incorporate both skills and behaviours into learning solutions for the best learner experience.
· Strive for a learner‑led, simple, accessible, and data‑driven capability offer.
· Maintain expertise, drive continuous improvement, and act as a thought leader.
· Use data and analytics to evaluate and improve development solutions.
· Champion a culture of learning and model Win Together behaviours.
· Ensure all content is planned and deployed effectively.
· Champion the digital learner experience and align learning with inclusion priorities.
· Manage external partners and budgets in line with best practice.

You will need:

· Strong design skills across multiple formats and levels

· End-to-end learning needs analysis and blended learning design

· Experience in both technical and behavioural learning design

· Senior stakeholder management, especially internationally

· Knowledge of the latest learning trends and business context
