SUMMARY OF ROLE:
As a Brand Partnerships Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of customer-centric marketing strategies and activations for brand partners across Fine Jewellery, Watches, and Contemporary Jewellery. A core part of this role is driving incremental revenue for the respective categories and the wider Brand Partnerships function, ensuring commercial targets are consistently met and exceeded.
You will shape and execute category strategies that maximise brand performance, optimise marketing investment, and unlock new income opportunities. This includes owning marketing planning, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder alignment while championing Selfridges’ distinct brand proposition and premium service.
You will directly contribute to the department’s financial plan, ensuring that all activity delivers measurable commercial outcomes. This role also requires building strong cross-functional relationships, influencing internal and external partners, and ensuring our activation plans translate into meaningful sales growth and enhanced brand visibility.
Extensive knowledge of Jewellery and watches, combined with an eye for new business opportunities, is essential. Your ability to secure both paid and organic support, delivering best-in-class brand activations that drive category revenue and long-term profitability.

Highly commercial, with a proven track record of driving revenue, negotiating effectively, and leading on sales-focused initiatives.
Knowledgeable about the retail media landscape across online channels and in store media.
Passionate about retail and brand environments, with deep knowledge and relationships from within the fine jewellery and watch's industry
Skilled in strategic marketing and communications planning, ideally within retail or brand-facing roles in luxury/cultural industries.
Expert across the full marketing mix and able to plan and deliver integrated channel plans spanning social, CRM, paid search, affiliates, online retail media, physical media, and experiential.
Able to manage multiple projects with excellence in execution.
Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling and premium partner packages and presentations.
Highly analytical, able to translate data into clear commercial recommendations; legal literacy helpful but not required.
Aligned with and able to role-model Selfridges’ values.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the Brand Partnerships and Marketing strategy across Fine Jewellery and Watches, owning both the marketing and category growth agenda
Build and maintain strategic relationships with brand partners, providing clear direction and cultivating long-term, revenue-driving partnerships.
Proactively drive new income opportunities, identifying partners, securing paid media investment, and validating channel mix to maximise commercial returns.
Work cross-functionally with Buying & Merchandising, PR, Social, Performance Marketing, Digital Trade, CRM, Affiliates, Events & Experiences, Creative and external media agencies to deliver aligned 360 activations.
Drive customer acquisition and traffic—both in-store and online—through targeted and commercially grounded activations aligned to Selfridges’ brand proposition.
Deliver regular commercial and performance reporting, working with Planning and Insights to build strong data foundations, define clear customer targets, and set measurable KPIs.
Champion accountability and ensure timely delivery of FY marketing revenue targets through a customer-centric and commercially-rigorous lens.
Monitor market developments, consumer trends, and competitor activity. Share insights proactively and adapt strategies to protect and grow commercial performance.
