Assistant Store Manager

Due to exceptional store performance, a major retail brand is expanding headcount and is now recruiting an assistant manager for one of its high-profile Cork locations. This is a newly created role offering stability, development, and a strong work–life balance.

The Role
- Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 colleagues
- Drive an engaging, customer-first culture on the shop floor
- Support all commercial activity, day-to-day operations, and store standards
- Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager
- Bring energy, sales leadership, and a passion for exceptional service

Ideally you will be an experienced retail leader from fashion, accessories, beauty, or home. Looking to speak with candidates holding an assistant manager, floor managers, supervisors or department managers.
You will be commercially aware with strong people-leadership skills, great at coaching and driving performance.

Basic salary is up to €32,000, with 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, life assurance, and lots of incentives to name a few. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, people-focused retailer that invests in training, development, and internal progression.
