Assistant Product Manager - Wovens (mens or womenswear) Sri Lanka

An exciting opportunity has come up for an assistant product manager to join a successful and international sourcing company in their office in Sri Lanka. Ideally you will have UK or European experience within a high street retailer.
This role will see you involved from design and development working closely with the UK across womens and menswear woven categories.

The role:
• Looking at key UK fashion trends for wovens
• Working closely with UK design & buying team to look at product gaps and opportunities
• Review the supply base and update it
• Monitor sales of product
• Work with technical and merchandising teams to ensure high quality of standards
• Implement new strategies to help drive sales
• Working with fabric sourcing to ensure all key seasonal fabrics are delivered
• Manage customer visits to the office

The candidate:
• Previous experience with wovens
• Experience working for UK / EU retailers
• Good product technical knowledge
• Previous experience in design, buying or product development
• Strategic and commercial thinker
