Assistant Product Manager - Wovens (mens or womenswear)

An exciting opportunity has come up for an assistant product manager to join a successful and international sourcing company in their office in Sri Lanka. This role will see you involved from design and development working closely with the UK across womens and menswear woven categories.

The role:
• Looking at key UK fashion trends for wovens
• Working closely with UK design & buying team to look at product gaps and opportunities
• Review the supply base and update it
• Monitor sales of product
• Work with technical and merchandising teams to ensure high quality of standards
• Implement new strategies to help drive sales
• Working with fabric sourcing to ensure all key seasonal fabrics are delivered
• Manage customer visits to the office

The candidate:
• Previous experience with wovens
• Experience working for UK / EU retailers
• Good product technical knowledge
• Previous experience in design, buying or product development
• Strategic and commercial thinker
