Assistant Merchandsier or Junior Merchandiser (12 month contract)

Join a long-established, Scottish brand based in Glasgow, specialising in quality outdoor clothing and equipment. The business offers classic apparel and equipment to customers locally and internationally through its retail and strong online presence.

Currently seeking an assistant merchandiser or junior merchandiser with a background in apparel to support range planning, stock management, and trading analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Seasonal category planning for each department
- Overseeing stock levels and allocation
- Managing in-season forecasting and markdown strategy
- Producing regular reports on weekly and seasonal performance
- Grading stores and managing distribution strategies

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and analytical skills, along with WSSI and forecasting experience.

Please note this is a 12 month maternity cover (with potential to be made permanent) and based in Glasgow 5 days per week.
