Asset Protection Specialist

We’re looking for an Asset Protection Specialist to join our team, helping bring Disney’s magic to life by ensuring a safe and secure environment in our stores.

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a visible security presence to deter theft and unsafe behaviors.
- Monitor store activity (in person and via CCTV); respond to suspicious behavior and security concerns.
- Support investigations, risk reporting, and emergency response.
- Screen staff/vendor access and perform bag/package checks.
- Assist with alarm and surveillance monitoring, incident documentation, and trend analysis.
- Act as a liaison with law enforcement and local security partners.
- Support and guide third-party security staff.
- Promote a safety-first culture among Cast Members and Guests.

What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years’ experience in retail security, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Skilled in de-escalation and crisis response.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and using ladders.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of asset protection and safety practices.
- Experience with CCTV, access control, EAS, and security tech.
- Incident reporting and exception-based analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certified is a plus.
