Area Manager – charity retail
Hours: Full time, permanent – 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hybrid, based at Oxford Nuffield Estate (OX4 6JS) with regular travel across our shop network.
Salary: £34,000 per annum

About the role:
You’ll oversee a network of charity shops, ensuring they thrive both commercially and as welcoming spaces for customers and volunteers. Your leadership will empower shop teams to deliver exceptional service, maximise income, and champion our mission.
Key responsibilities:
lead and support shop managers and volunteers across your area
drive sales and profitability to fund essential hospice care
ensure compliance with charity retail standards and policies
recruit, train, and develop staff and volunteers
promote sustainability through donated goods and ethical retailing
build strong local relationships and represent our charity values.
About you:
experienced in multi-site retail management
a natural leader who inspires and motivates teams
commercially savvy with a heart for charity
excellent communication and organisational skills
full UK driving licence.
