We have an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Acquisitions team.
The position will play a pivotal role in driving our growth ambitions with a clear focus on expanding our portfolio and maximising opportunities.

THE BUSINESS

The Acquisition Team manages the acquisition of the retail properties to be occupied by the Peacocks, and Bonmarche brands. In total their combined portfolio currently extends to nearly 600 properties mainly located on the high street and within shopping centres throughout the UK with the goal to add at least 50 stores per annum

The businesses have head offices in Cardiff and Wakefield and regular attendance will be a requirement of the post holder
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY
• Undertaking all aspects of property acquisitions – from identifying and appraising new sites all the way through to lease completion
• To liaise with all key internal stakeholders including Finance, Retail and HR to ensure stores opened meet our high standards
• Present new store opportunities
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and pursue opportunities for expansion and diversification.
• Target portfolio acquisitions
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Commercial Property/Transaction role.
• Experience in negotiating all aspects of the acquisition process including agreements for leases, leases, and occupational specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
• Proven track record of delivering results.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change
