Online retailer Zavvi has threatened customers with legal action if they fail to return video game consoles that were mistakenly delivered to them.

Customers who ordered a £20 game on the website last month received the PS Vita console, worth approximately £170 by mistake.

Zavvi has since written to customers threatening “legal remedies” if they fail to arrange for them to be collected and sent back to the retailer.

The Citizens Advice Bureau has suggested that consumers should follow the retailer’s advice and return the item.
