Zara has launched its own cosmetics line called Zara Beauty. Available worldwide, the range is housed in its own section in-store and will also be sold online from 12 May in Europe, the US, Canada, China, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand before gradually being rolled out elsewhere. In addition, 22 stores will showcase the collection through an immersive experience.

Products include lipsticks, foundations, balms, oils, bronzers and nail polish, all of which have been made using compounds designed by British make-up artist Diane Kendal. The items are being made available in a range of more than 130 colours, a mix of matt, satin and pearl finishes and are suitable for a wide spectrum of skin tones.

In addition, the packaging has been designed for refilling and makes extensive use of recycled glass. All of the container designs features diagonal shapes that have been inspired by the “Z” in the Zara logo.

Stores offering the immersive experience will include fully fitted dedicated sections or more open-plan areas that feature colour-matching flooring, walls and ceilings. Meanwhile, online shoppers will be able to virtually recreate the result of applying the various products on their eyes, lips, faces and nails as well as access beauty tips and ideas.
