Yoox Net-a-Porter has added strength to its management line-up with the appointment of five new senior executives.

Pete Marsden has become the group’s chief technology officer, and will report into global chief operating officer Olivier Schaeffer.  Marsden will focus on mobile, personalisation and AI as the company looks to enrich the customer experience.

Marsden was previously the chief technology officer at Aviva, and has also held senior technology positions at House of Fraser and ASOS.

Nicola Brandolese has been appointed as the new managing director of Net-a-Porter.  He will report to Alison Loehni, the president of Yoox Net-a-Porter’s luxury division.  He will focus on the day-to-day management of Net-a-Porter, as well as driving its international expansion.

Brandolese was previously chief executive at Guiseppe Zanotti, and was a group executive at LVMH.

Thierry Pichon has joined the business as vice president of global sales and customer experience.  He was previously the general manager of Level where he implemented a new ecommerce platform and drove global expansion.

The final appointment was Alessia Crivelli, who has joined Yoox’s fashion division in the newly created role of brand communications director.  She will be responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy of yoox.com.  She was previously at Gucci for 15 years, where she was global partnerships and special projects director.
