Westminster City Council has revealed that it has given its approval for a new development that will host a new retail hub in Belgravia.

Following the recent death of its owner the Duke of Westminster, Grosvenor, who own a large portion of Mayfair and Belgravia have won plans to build an 80,000 sq ft development in the central London borough.
The new hub is due to be completed in 2018 and space will be let to up-and-coming independent retailers who may have problems finding retail space around the area.

Anna Farnes, Grosvenor development director, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity to convert an underused space in south Belgravia into a creative hub for entrepreneurs and independent retailers.”
