Waitrose has revealed its first cashless store in Sky Central, the TV network’s head office.
First reported in March, the 1400 sq ft flagship cashless store is now open to over 3500 staff, who can only pay via smartphone or credit cards at the self-service checkouts, however it is the second smallest store in the UK.
The store will house products such wraps and sushi, celebration cake, sandwiches, fresh flowers, evening meals, fresh bread and croissants, as well as cupboard staples.
