UK unemployment has fallen once again by 58,000 to 1.91 million according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The fall brings unemployment to its lowest level in over six years.

The latest labour market statistics also showed that there are now 30.8 million people in work with wage growth remaining above the rate of inflation and average earnings rising for the second month in a row.

However, the rate of employment has shown signs of slowing, as the fall in unemployment is the smallest quarterly fall since July to September 2013 and the number of employed people in the country was unchanged from the previous quarter.
