Stationery and newspaper retailer, WH Smith are to announce sales figures for the first 20 weeks of the fiscal year, 2017 in the coming week. In October, the company reported that like-for-like sales had risen by 1%, however there was a 2% decline in revenue from its high street stores. This was offset by a rise in revenue from the company’s travel division, which reported increased sales of 4%, becoming the main contributor towards the revenue.
