It has been announced that toy retailer The Toy Store is planning to open six stores across the UK, eyeing up different shopping centre precincts after its flagship store in Oxford Street stayed open for less than a year.
Commenting, Mark Hadley, chief financial officer said there was no time limit to open the stores due to the “uncertainties in the UK market” after the Brexit vote and that the company was “waiting for the right strategic locations to come available”.
Taking over The Toy Store’s spot at Bond Street station will be JD Sports.
