Ted Baker posted a 12.2% increase in its retail sales in the five weeks leading to the 5th January.
Online sales grew by 18.7%, and were a total of 25.7% of overall retail sales, comparing to 24.3% in the same period the previous year.
Lindsay Page, Ted Baker acting chief executive, said: “The Ted Baker brand has delivered a good performance across both our stores and ecommerce business, despite the continuing challenging external trading conditions across our markets. This result again reflects the strength of the brand and the quality of our collections.”
The company also announced that it has completed the acquisition of No Ordinary Shoes from Pentland.
