Superdrug have confirmed that they have been the victim of hacking and that there is a possibility that customers’ names, addresses, telephone numbers and dates of birth have been accessed.
The company announced the news on Twitter but did not say how many customers had been affected by the breach. As a security precaution, Superdrug has asked its customers to change their online passwords.
The retailer has contacted the police and Action Fraud about the incident.
