Store Twenty One is being liquidated resulting in the loss of approximately 900 jobs as its 122 stores ceased trading on Friday. The announcement comes after the HMRC had issued the company with a winding up order in April regarding unpaid tax. Simon Bonney, a partner at Quantuma, the corporate recovery and business advisory firm that is handling the liquidation, added that, “We are now in the process of conducting an orderly wind-down and would welcome contact from any interested parties who may wish to purchase assets of the company.”
